Off travelling again 😀 to Morocco for a three week tour with a couple of friends. We decided a tour would be the easiest and safest way to enjoy the country, it’s an active tour with lots of activities and different places to visit. I am happy not to have to worry about organising buses, trains or hotels; a very different style of holiday for me but keen to see how I go. I have lots of music and podcasts downloaded for the travel time, and both Lisa and I have books we’ll share.

It’s a bit retro, I only realised today that Morocco doesn’t have global roaming ! So I shall only be in contact when in wifi and I’m not even sure that all the hotels will have wifi. Then again, when I first started travelling in 1988, the only way to contact people was by mail, or feeding coins into a phone at a huge rate, or queuing up at the backpacker phone centre to buy 10 minutes phone time. Pre-internet days for sure, I remember sending my first ever email from Sydney around 1996, so really this trip to Morocco won’t be so hard.

So I will post updates and photographs whenever possible but maybe not as frequently as normal. Maybe this is an opportunity to really relax into the country, the people and scenery, without feeling connected to my normal life.
