Ait Ben Haddou, an amazing casbah in the side of the mountain, by a river. So many films have had scenes times here, including some of the scenes from Gladiator. People live here, although a little of damage was done in the recent earthquake. Hopefully UNESCO funding will repair the damage.

And an excellent meal in the hotel after a brisk refreshing swim in the hotel’s unheard swimming pool.
