Only 4 km today, so an easy start to the trek. A beautiful cool swim on the way, not nearly as cold as expected.
It’s a stunning area, so different to WA with lush trees, grass and flowing rivers. The cool temperate weather is such a pleasant change after dry arid WA.
Yes, I’m nervous about the next days, but slowly and steadily will be my strategy.
