On the way home at last, with Andy here to assist ! It’s time to get home, and I will be so happy to be home again. It’s been a challenging, rewarding, valuable time for reflection, which will take me time to process, but now I’m really ready for home, cats, Fremantle, good weather and my community.

“Homeward bound,
Home where my thought’s escaping,
Home where my music’s playing,
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for me.”
Well, the cats aren’t exactly silent but the thought works.
It seems strange, using a phrase like ‘ stem cell family’, which seemed a bit pretentious when I first heard it. However I have spent so much time with these people that they become like family, and I know I’ll see at least some of them again, somewhere, sometime.
Yesterday my last cyborg part was removed, and I now feel like a human who can actually take a shower ! First time for a very long time and and it was very welcome, washes with a facecloth just aren’t quite the same.
