Not a bad way to get back to a good negroni ( a Campari based cocktail), dinner then my little flat for more writing up my interim thesis report.

I’ve cooked most evenings, heated leftovers other nights and eaten breakfast (yoghurt and berries) at home, so it’s lovely to have a meal out in a very trendy casual restaurant.

The interim report is coming on well, my lovely supervisor reviewed it today and in 30 minutes gave me substantial comments and input to improve the report. Guess that’s why she’s a professor and I’m the student. However all were very valuable comments which I’ll action over the next few days.

Anyway a few photos from my wandering when I’ve needed a break from academic study. Does watching Alone Australia count as distraction or a welcome break ?

While I still don’t want to move to Brisbane, it’s not a terrible place to spend a week.
